Chlorine can wreak havoc on polyurethane and polyurea formulations. Even newer chemistries like polyaspartic exhibit streaking and blanching. Thin-flim roller applied topcoats prove problematic to patch. Clear-coats offer only limited and unreliable solutions... more.

Trafflex Polyurea Coating

Trafflex™ is a polyurea coating system engineered to protect and waterproof suspended concrete parking structures. This resiliant polyurea coating has proven itself as a champion of parking decks subjected to heavy commercial vehicle traffic. With superb resistance to ultra-violet weathering, Trafflex™ will extend the life of any structure exposed to erosion and corrosion caused and encouraged by nature's elements. Learn More - Parkade Restoration.

Trafflex™ is superior to polyurethanes and epoxies which are usually batch-mixed and then roller-applied. These materials are often diluted with industrial solvents, slowing the chemical reactivity to increase potlife and working time. Mixing additional solvent into polymer formulations weakens performance and decreases the coating's resistance to moisture by as much as 50%. Even worse, some traffic deck coatings are single component materials which have the weakest physicals and lowest overall performance of all protective coatings. Learn More - Technical
